Finally! I bought new stuff today - a camcorder! So I might be able to take some new shots, probably at Basel's Annual Christmas Market, but well, I will have to hurry then, it last untill tomorrow - and I will get imprisoned in School untill 5 p.m...

If I can't get to the Market, let's see if I can take some Pics either at Silvester, or at the latest at the Soccer friendly between my home Club FC Basel and famous german record Champion; FC Bayern Munich!.. (12th January 2010)...

I really have to apologize because of the long time it needed to buy a new Cam and so on... hope you will watch my soon-to-come Pics anyway :-D

R.I.P Robert Enke (1977-2009)

On late evening, around 8:00 pm (CEST), several german News-Channel reported that Robert Enke, Goalkeeper of Bundesliga-Club Hannover 96 and the German national football team, died at the age of 32. Enke was hit by a train, he likely commited suicide.

Some of you will likely ask yourself, why the heck I'm posting a Journal about that. I have to say, I am not really sure, I think it is mostly to handle with this.

As an enthusiastic soccer fan, especially of Swiss, German, Italian and English soccer, a cold shiver ran down my spine, I could not believe it.
My thoughts are by his wife and his adopted child, who have to deal with this unbelieveable tragedy.

2009 Victoria Cup (Ice hockey)

Swiss club, and Champions League-Winner ZSC Lions Zürich had surprisingly won the Victoria Cup against the NHL-Team Chicago Blackhawks. This was an second milestone for ZSC Lions, after winning the Hockey Champions League as an underdog. Congratulations ZSC!

The Champions League begun at the end of June with the first Qualifying Rounds. Now the Group Stage has completed its 3rd Round so far. Swiss club, and -sadly - current Swiss Champion FC Zürich lost their game against Olympique Marseille with 0:1.
